Copper Mountain Resort has hosted the TIE Conference for 7 consecutive years now. It offers the perfect backdrop for "getting away from it all" while providing a great education in 21st Century Technology. There is no better way to enjoy a relaxed environment while attending exciting TIE sessions and engaging in meaningful collaboration with your colleagues.

Reservations must be made by Thursday, May 21, 2009 to take advantage of conference rates. After Thursday, May 21, 2009, lodging accommodations will be based on space availability in Copper Mountain Resort properties. Copper Mountain offers a variety of accommodations. All reservations should be made by calling (866) 837-2996. Mention that you are attending the Technology In Education Conference and provide the group code 3G26S2, to receive the reduced group rates. These rates are good from Friday, June 19th – Sunday, June 28, 2009 for those conference attendees who would like to spend a few extra days at Copper.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO TIE ATTENDEES

Due to recent changes in IntraWest corporate policy, TIE attendees staying at Copper Mountain Resort properties will be charged sales tax on their lodging. Attendees are eligible to receive sales tax refunds from the State of Colorado since they work for school districts which are non-profit entities. To receive this sales tax refund you must submit the form below to the state. Please check with your finance department to find out if there are any other documents that may be required. TIE apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause for you and your school districts.
