Just found this Beta this week, http://www.historypin.com/ allows historic photos to be pinned to Google maps and encourages stories about the pics. Great for history lessons.
Livebinders.com Diigo and Delicious like way to capture websites, actually keep them and organzie by tabs you create.
Tagxedo http://www.tagxedo.com/ tag clouds with style, can be saved and downloaded, a step above Wordle.
doink.com is a fun online vector based creative tool very similar to Flash. Have your kids try it out. Fun animations and builds understanding of objects and scenes.

Celly creates mini social networks called channels that connect students, educators, and parents. Channels can be created for individual grades, classrooms, sports teams. Administrators can use Celly to send out periodic text message alerts to many students and parents. Teachers can use channels to extend the classroom beyond school hours to coordinate events and enable students to collaborate on homework.
